1. What is the role of a Deputy Section Manager? Could you share with us your key responsibilities?

Of course! While every section may have a similar position, the specific responsibilities often revolve around supporting the Section Manager and vary depending on the management style. Simply put, we act as the left or right hand of the Section Manager. Our key duties include creating and maintaining smooth and consistent communication between our offices in China and our international offices in Europe. In addition, as Deputy Section Managers, we oversee the section's performance, goals, and challenges. These tasks can be quite complex, as they often differ depending on the experience level of the section members. It’s also our responsibility to ensure that all tasks are completed on time.

2. In your opinion, what is the most important aspect of your job? What essential skills should a Deputy Section Manager have?

For me, communication is the most important part of my role. It is essential for fostering productive and meaningful collaboration. Building and leading a team is also very important, though it can be quite demanding and challenging at times. I’m very dedicated to my work and always striving to improve my skills in order to manage teamwork more effectively.

3. What is the purpose of your visit to Poland? How do you like our Kraków office?

As a Deputy Section Manager, one of my responsibilities is to visit different offices and connect with section members. During these visits, we also give short talks and share our experiences with colleagues. So far, I’ve spent over two months at our office in Romania, and now I’m here in Kraków. I hope to visit more of our team members in other locations as well. The Kraków office is fantastic — I absolutely love the atmosphere here. I can already feel how engaged and committed the people working here are.

Thank you, Evangeline, for sharing your experiences and insights with us. We wish you continued success — and see you again soon!
